The Co-Write: Episode 34 – An Interview with Radney Foster

Radney Foster has long been heralded as one of Texas’ finest songwriters.  Growing up in Del Rio, TX, Radney’s love of music began at family bar-b-ques where guitars were passed from hand to hand and songs of all genres were shared to all who would listen.  Radney tended that early flame and began his expansive career while attending college about ninety minutes from Nashville.  Radney has had many national chart hits for major artists from Keith Urban to Sara Evans, but you might be surprised how many songs from the Texas music scene Radney has penned or had a hand in penning.  Radney sits down with The Co-Write to discuss those early days, his entry into the new-age Texas music genre & his newest project, “For You to See the Stars”, which is a combination record and book of short stories.

Prior to the Radney interview, the fellas discuss an unlikely friend of Donovan’s who has a shot to become a world champion.  They also discuss the untimely passing of Tom Petty, and BRUCE TALK!
